Hi Everybody!!!

Yesterday I discovered this sketch blog, especially for cardsketches. And I love them all!!! Made 6 (!) cards by these sketches. Mostly christmascards, which I will probably show later...

But here's my take on sketch 33:

OLW and a new look for my blog!

Today I finally did some scrappin'... Made the OLW-challenge with the word Full (VOL = Full in Dutch)...


I also made a banner with winterblue and warm red! And Daphne did some photoshop trics with it... don't you just love it? Thanks sweetie! :)

More cards and my sweet little angel...

I have to admit it: I'm hooked... on cardmaking! :) I made a few cards this last week.
This one is made with the CPS sketch:


Look at those awesome silver leaves (I love kitsch!):

Finally I will leave you with a picture of my little cutiepie... he got a chocolate 'zwarte piet' in his shoe this morning, because 'Sinterklaas' is in the country again!

Card challenge and published layouts

Well... my voice is still not working properly, so that means I'm still at home and do a loooooooooooooooooooooot of scrappin'! Still working on my Christmas cards... Nancy published a great cardworkshop on her blog, so I had to make one myself! Here's the result. I painted the stars with Ranger crackle paint. Love that stuff! The puffy paint-result is not really great, but hey: you can't have it all, right? Ali Edwards once said to me (at a workshop that she was teaching): embrace imperfection! Those words are so very true, I think I will never forget them...

Ho Ho Ho

It's almost December and that means that I have to send some Christmas Cards... I love to get a lot of cards and I also love to make cards myself for the people who are special for me... so last week I made some cards with Magnolia stamps, Doodlebug Christmas Clear Stamps ánd the beautiful K&Company Christmas papers: Peppermint Twist. Here are a few examples:

... to my friend Daniëlle, who gave birth to a beautiful baby boy: Joost! :D I made her this card, using the delicious Sassafras Lass papers ánd my new Prima Marketing journaling stamps...

I did a lot of scrappin' this week, but unfortunately I can't show you anything of it... It's all for Scrap! magazine, which will be published in January...
But: next week (November 8th) the new Scrap! will come out... so go and check it out in stores then! I made some stuff for that one too... ;)

Okay, I'm off to go messing out my scrapcorner now... I can't go to work this week, because I have a polyp on my vocal cords and now I need to keep my mouth shut (yes, totally shut!) for 72 hours... OMG, how will I get through this??? Well... just do a lot of scrappin' I guess. ;)

A card, a sneak and a layout

I'm doing a card-twinswap at the Dolls Messageboard. I had to make a card for Heleen and she has to make a card for me with the same stuff that I used on her card... First I made this Hello-card, but I didn't use it for the swap, because I'm not sure if Heleen has a Glitter Glamour (bling)tool... so I keep it for another occasion...

And finally I can show you the last layout of my scrapweekend at Boukje's house... It's all about Julian's delicious smelly feet! ;) I love to sniff on his toes... hehe, sometimes I'm a weirdo!


Tomorrow we (my sister, her husband, Otto and me) are going to surprise my mom, because she turned 65 yesterday! She doesn't have any clue of where we are taking her... but It's going to be awesome! ;)

Ok, off to bed now... I have no voice at the moment, so I need to keep my mouth shut the whole day... and that is soooooooooooooo hard for me! :S So I need to avoid the people around me... otherwise I'll never get my voice back...

Today I made a layout for Fauve. We are doing a photoswap, but I will not show my layout until Fauve is ready... so I leave you with a sneak! :)


I also made a card for a challenge on Nancy's blog. My mother is turning 65 next week and this card is for her. Hope she likes it... ;)


Last week Otto and I pimped our living room. We painted the walls (white) and I stripped our dinnertable (peel off the upper layer). We also have more of Otto's paintings in our livingroom now. We are very happy with the result. I'm very curious to hear what you think of it... :)



We also made our own clock: totally white! Don't you just love it?

Finally...

... did some scrappin' again! I've spent my weekend at Boukje for a scrapping marathon! And I loves it!!! Made 6(!!) layouts in 24 hours! Here are the first five. The sixth will be published later this week... hehe. I have to make a picture first.
Well, now I'm off to pimp our living room! Have a great week!!!

... for a student in my class who will be in hospital for a few weeks. I am so busy working, that I have no time to scrap... but I hope to get back scrappin' real soon, so that I can show you some layouts again...

I went to Almere yesterday, to see the new Dolls-shop... it was a very fun day. Very nice to meet all of those forum Dollies in person! Here are a few pics of the day:
